New from Fl

Hello everybody,

We just pulled the trigger on a 09 Surveyor SV-302 travel trailer... she
is great shape and only needs a few cosmetic things fix up..
New wheels will be put on this week... the ones it has look brand new
but the trailer stood in one spot for close to a year in this Fl sun and
everybody said to change them...

and we will also be adding a new awning... we love to fish and my GF is
a tournament softball player and she can't wait to stay in it rather then
in some hotel

I know I have a lot to learn from you guys/gals and want to thank every
body up front for all the crazy questions I might ask...

Welcome ~ you are correct that the Florida sun is brutal. We keep our tires covered. There is a certain comfort in knowing who slept in your bed last, etc, keeping creature comforts loaded and ready to roll.

Jettypark? Which one? My first thought was at Port Canaveral, or maybe the West Coast? We're in Brandon and love the Sarasota area, although dkb keeps telling me I gotta try going North

If you snoop around the site for a bit, You'll see F.R.O.G. campouts mentioned. The next official one for Florida will be in November; not sure what your traveling season is but it is scheduled for Nov 21 weekend at Sun n Fun in Sarasota. We'd love to have you join us.
