New from Kansas
We tow a 2005 Wildwood 30FKSS with a 2006 Chev. 2500 Duramax using a Hensley Arrow hitch.
We don't get to go as much as we would like sometimes, we plant a big garden and have about 6 a. of our property that we keep mowed in a rural area about 20 miles S of the Kansas City Metro area. We take as many 2 to 5 day trips as we can and try to get away on longer trips once or twice a year in the early spring or early fall before the weather starts turning nasty.
It is just the two of us most of the time, we join up from friends from Colorado from time to time. We mainly go to areas to enjoy the ourtdoor views of this great country of ours. We stay mainly in private or COE campgrounds and some county and city campgrounds.
We use Passport America, Good Sam, Golden Age Passport discounts whenever we can.
Went to KC Rv show this winter and drooled over the new trailers, but couldn't find any that we liked better than the one we already have thats paid for. We decided to save our money, make some modifications to the Wildwood Motel, and use the money saved for more trips as time permits.
We removed the sofa bed and replace it with a couple of recliners we picked up on sale at Sears that were small enough to fit the area, updated the television with a 26 inch flat screen, and we are in the process of making many little changes here and there to make TT life a little more pleasant.
I just found this forum a few weeks ago and decided to join it. I have been at other sites but this one seems better and holds my attention. The replies to the threads by members are far more informative and seem like they have more quality and soul to them than some of the other sites.
I am still learning about the site and finding new things everyday.
Our first trip of the year will be to one of our favorite parks, Melvern Outlet Park at Melvern Lake.
It is sure nice to be a member of this site.
Let's all keep on talking RVing
