New from Michigan!

Been reading the forums for awhile and decided to join. We have been camping in a 2007 8318ss for a couple years and decided to upgrade to 2018 8324BS.

Hoping to gain some insite and meet some fellow camping enthusiasts in the site!

We really wanted to step up to a 5er but I have commitment issues and a 20 year payment was hard for me to accept. We looked at several jayco north points. Ultimately we decided not to drop $50-60k this time. Maybe our next unit.

We have a private site in Houghton Lake where we spend most of our time and then we do other trips from there. Hoping to hit mackinaw this summer if we can find a nice spot with full hookups.

Congrats on the new trailer!.

Have you joined FROG Forest River Owners Group - The official owner's group of Forest River RV, manufacturer of world-class recreational vehicles. The actual Forest River Owners group (not affiliated with this independent forum). They run a number of rallies. You should be able to get a FHU site at many of them.

We are heading to the Petrolinia rally in Ontario, June 8-12, it's a short drive past Port Huron. Looks like they still have availability for that one.

I have not signed up for the owners group yet. I will do that.

I don't think I will make the event in Ontario. I have family coming in June and I will be walking for my masters degree so June will be crazy busy.
