New from Nc

I'm new to the group, my wife and I just ordered a 2018 Sierra 384qbok. We are incredibly well versed in camping, but not complete noobs either. We are located just north of Charlotte NC and will likely camp more at the outer banks of NC than everywhere else combined. We decided to take the plunge on a new camper because we have 2 kids and 3 dogs and a Tegu! It''s hard to find vacation rentals with our pets

Welcome from Southeast Virginia!

We frequent the OBX often, too.

Happy travels...

Lots of NC people here! Thanks everyone. I saw a horrible typo in my OP, supposed to say we aren't incredibly well versed in camping! We are looking forward to taking delivery and making our first trip to Frisco woods at the outer banks to catch the spring drum run

Umm, Might I suggest a first trip very close to home.. It will be good to go through your setup, make sure everything works properly and get to know the ins and outs of your setup..help practice your packing.. But Mostly just to make sure you aren't hours away and then find out you have issues with a holding tank, etc..You can do a pretty good check sitting in your driveway (we spent the night in ours in our driveway first, then took it to a campground we like 30 minutes away for the first weekend trial and we had a few issues)

Go big or go home! Nah actually we will go to a local campground for a weekend, I just don't consider that a trip since I could be home in 20 minutes or less..
