Welcome to the Forums and Welcome from Maine. Good luck on your project, make sure you post your progress. As for your roof make sure to search these forums, I'm sure many TT's have similar designs so you should find ideas. Don't forget youtube, I've seen all kinds of suggestions and rebuilds there on roofs too.
