Hello from St Louis, MO!!
The DW and I recently purchased a Rockwood ultra light 2618 VS. Our kids are all college age now and moving out of the house, so we have some time to ourselves.
We were previous pop up campers but some unscrupulous individual decided to commandeer our camper while in storage. So, it was our opportunity to make lemonade out of lemons and move up to a TT. We scoured the online sites and went to numerous RV shows and dealerships until we found exactly what we were looking for.
We drove 500 miles to pick it up and have not looked back. Our only regret is we got it late in the season and only have a couple of opportunities to get it out before we have to store it for the winter.
We have had to re-purchase all our camping gear and accessories because they were all stored in the pop up, but we just keep drinking the lemonade and tell ourselves, it is all worth it. AND IT IS!
The DW is an awesome interior designer so you can imagine how much this trailer feels like our home. The interior was nice before but it is awesome now! Ottomans, pillows, nice curtains, and I could go on. It feels like a luxury resort.
We pull out Tuesday for our second trip this month and will go again in a few weeks.
