New from upstate ny
Been looking around for a decent forum to join for rv/camping people and this one seemed to fit the bill. Hope to hang around for a while, even after I fix up my older pop up. 😊
I'm not a stranger to camping, but its usually been tent or throw the cap on the truck and pack an air mattress or 2, when you just have to keep the bears out. This is my 1st official "camper". Dream one would be a hard side truck pop-up camper, but thats out of the budget and my trucks box wouldn't handle the weight these days.

Im in the mohawk valley,. Used to live right smack in the middle of the Adirondacks but jobs are thin on the ground up there.

Welcome from Baja Arizona! The Popup Portal is also a great group of folks, and they specialize in Popup trailers. I joined over there when we bought our '99 Coleman Nevada nine years ago, and we enjoyed a number of Portal Rallies over the years.

That said, don't take it as a suggestion you should leave here and go there. I'm a member in both forums.

There is! A lot of places to camp out in the boonies too. Just need to watch for bears and savy Forest Rangers.
