New Georgetown 7 Series Owners

Hello Everyone, my name is Tim and my wife and I have purchased a Georgetown 7 Series 36D7, which will be delivered in late-June. We are both excited and a bit nervous. We have never owned an RV of any kind, but need to escape the summer Hell that is Phoenix from June through September.

We are planning to do a lot of boondocking, but after reading all the negative comments on this forum about power issues, I am not sure we have made the right purchase decision. Our Georgetown, along with most Class A’s anymore, comes with a residential fridge. Almost everything I have read here says “DO NOT DRY CAMP WITH A RESIDENTIAL REFRIGERATOR”!
So, I am seriously debating whether or not to go through with this purchase. Can anyone talk me down, please?!!! Or, if it is really the case that it is not feasible, I need to hear that, too.

Thanks, on advance, for all of you help and knowledge.

Tim
