New Guy

Thought I would jump in and say hello, I have owned our Forest River destination trailer since February, but it is finally getting delivered tomorrow, so now I am starting to actually feel like an owner.

I have looked over the PDI threads but just curious if anyone has any tips for things that might not be on lists, but need to be looked at.

I have learned a bit already looking through the forum and so far am enjoying my check ins.

The OP has a destination trailer so I'm pretty sure they won't ever boondock. But I could be wrong.

We had a 2014 Keystone previous to this unit so not new to travel trailers, this is just my first new trailer.

As far as dry camping, it wont happen. My wife claims her hair drier is a necessity.

We have 3 kids and found a spot we all enjoy near Walker MN, so we will set up there. We tried the seasonal spot last year because of the difficulties in finding weekend accomodations, and decided that it works well for us, no fights about loading the truck after work on Friday or Re-loading on Sunday. No hurt feelings when backing into spots....

During your PDI, just make sure EVERYTHING works as advertised... water hooked up and running in the wet spots, flip all switches, video what you can if confused...

I suspect they may have it delivered to your spot?
