2021 Forest River Wolfpack 23pack15
Looking to do our first shake down local next weekend. We have a lot to learn with a big trip coming up next month off grid for 2 weeks at high altitude.

Welcome to the forum!
Off grid usually means you need a generator or backup batteries. Take lots of flashlights/lanterns and a way to recharge your phones.
High altitude comes with it's own problems which depends a lot on where you're going. High altitude cooking comes to mind.
Will you have access to drinking water?

This trip in particular is a elk hunt in Utah i will be bringing extra water jugs with me. As well as extra fuel my concern right now is brand new generator built into trailer NPS 4500 is not working properly trying to work out issues with manufacture. Not quite sure what all can be ran without generator? I have small solar panel setup for batteries trailer has 2 12v batteries I do have solar panels for cell phones radios and plenty of flash lights. Definitely going to need a generator I guess possibly barrow a generator that I can run outside of the trailer and plug into.

You will need the generator unless you seriously upgrade your solar panels. Shoot straight!

What you can run depends on your setup and if you have an inverter. About the only thing you can be certain runs on batteries are the lights and trailer brakes. Some propane/electric refrigerators and water heaters have an electric igniter that run off the house battery. The best thing would be to try everything in a 'driveway' test.
If you've got a built in generator, that might run on an electric start from your house batteries. Some generators need adjustments to run at high altitudes, but how high is too high depends on your generator.
