New here

Just bought a 2013 flagstaff 246d pop up. Just wondering if anyone has good advise on what generator to buy. 30amp service, no ac. Thought it would be nice where we camp to have. Thanks!!

any 2000w inverter generator, such as a Honda or Yamaha, will run everything for sure, but probably not the a/c.
make sure it's an INVERTER generator. everything else will be too loud for a campground.

What kind of camping do you plan on doing? Depending on where you go, a generator might not be required...

Where we normally camp, there are no hookups. But I plan on packing up the fam and going more often with the new camper. Explore a little, ya know!! A generator would be handy where we normally camp.

Not really in the wild, I live in the adirondacks in New York. We camp at a state site, same site , every year and its only 20 min from home!!! Love it, big beach for our boat. There have been bears there so I guess it could be considered wild!!! Lol!!!!

Congrats on the new RV! Can't offer much feedback on the generator question except that some brands are quiet while others are not.

Good luck in your search but in the meantime have fun camping!
