I went to that show today. Lots and lots of RVs in any model you could want. Was disappointed with the vendor area because I was expecting to find parts/options/accessories, etc. All I found was booths selling gutters, storm doors, siding, purses, lipstick, and on and on.

But, I did fall in love with the Jayco Class C built on a Freightliner chasis with the Cummins engine.

I might go back tomorrow to get some detailed pictures of a patio door ramp enclosure I saw there. Unfortunately, it's made by Lippert and they will only sell it to manufacturers...no aftermarket sales. Gonna have to build it myself.

(Hint: Save $8 and enter through the restroom area doors to the right of the main entrance. You don't know where you heard that).

No couldn't get into any of our good sites, so we chose to go to military campground down in Destin. Will be at Bolding Mill Memorial Day though.

I've had a lifelong aversion to participating in any activities on weekends. I think that comes from years of working where I picked my schedule to be working most weekends (and always on Sundays). Probably had something to do with the $$$ bonus for that. Just can't get used to this full retirement thing.

Same here on the retirement thing. I should have booked later like you. DW and I just discussed this issue as to why do we want to book on holidays and weekends. Got use to it due to working now do not have to do Later RJD

Not sure if you know about it but Hard Labor State Park is undergoing a major reconstruction of all the campground stuff. Supposed to get upgraded connections, etc., and a new bath/shower house. It's supposed to reopen on or about June 1. Might be a good spot for all the "sorta" local ones on here to meet up.
