New in Albuquerque

Hi all, picked up our 2016 REV 24CB yesterday in Amarillo and drove to ABQ in high plains wind storm. Really rattled me and was not the best intro for my first day and were first time RVers. Wind calmed some then we dealt with semi volume on I-40 as I headed west into setting sun. Had to stop for gas once which was disappointing. Id read previously that the REV is light on the front axle so no doubt that leads to wind instability. Hopefully Ive experienced the worst on my first day. Not whining but hoping this forum is a place for honest expression and helpful interaction. Would welcome any feedback. No specific questions at this point but need to know how to create a tag for my unit.

So the sun came up today and Im looking for a brighter day. Unit came without any supplies for sewer, hoses, electric adapters etc. Hope to be reasonably outfitted by next weekend for my birthday. Expect to use the unit about half for boondocking and half sightseeing camping.

Not sure what you mean by 'tag'. You can add a signature under UserCP and include your unit specs.
Are you familiar with front wheel drive vehicles? The REV is front wheel drive and drives like one. It's very responsive to the steering wheel and keeping your hands at 9&3 instead of 10&2 helps. It's not immune to winds because it's a box on wheels. Slowing down will help. In light wind it will fly down the freeway, but in winds... remember you're driving a van.
There is a sewer hose in a compartment on the drivers side about half way down the rig. Hopefully you'll get the other items soon.
We tend to use ours more for sightseeing camping. It's great for stopping to see sights as we travel down the road.
Your rig is similar to ours, so if you have any questions, just ask.
Welcome to the forum from Texas!

Welcome from Southern California!
Might be best to start a separate thread specific to your suspension issues.

Great to hear several supportive replies! I saw the “tag” function on the site and that that might be a way to filter for specific threads for my rig.

So far as front wheel drive we specifically liked that about the Ram as my wife thought it would be more catlike and she would be more likely to drive it.

I have no sewer hose in the appropriate slot which is only a 2’ piece of PVC.

Hi and welcome to FRF!
Suggest you start posting in the Dynamax sub-forum, where you'll probably be able to get factory input on your questions.
The Site Team always recommends that new members check out each section of the Forum and their sub-forums.
That way you'll have a better idea where to post or do research.
