New Isata 4
Hello from Eastern Washington. We brought home our 2018 (new) 25FWF from Minnesota last week. I really wanted to buy local but wasn't willing to roll over on the $9,500 price difference after several weeks of local negotiation. The 1,400 miles was a fantastic way to start the relationship between man and machine. I've already queued up my order of an upgraded steering stabilizer and front sway bar. It took some digging on the interwebs to bring me right back to this forum and a comment made by the faithful BC Clemens "Dynaride is the combination of a Helwig sway bar and a solid rubber sheer spring addition to the existing suspension." (I had not researched this before the actual purchase and confused it with JRidePlus of the Jayco line that includes front end upgrades as well.) I'm still extremely impressed with what the Isata 4 brings to the table in other areas and specifically this relatively short floor plan.
We've had a few TTs in the past but after a long trip to the Redwoods we realized that towing and trailer setup were not the best fit for our future plans of long trips and seeing as much of the US and Canada as possible with our time allowed. Even with bombing home last week, I'm already impressed with the quick set up of boondocking in the motorhome, especially with the Isata solar and inverter on board. Looking so forward to a big "summer loop" of the western states after dialing in the steering a bit with the planned upgrades.
I'm open to advice and suggestions and looking forward to being an active member here.
