Yeah we loved the layout too on ours. Looked at a couple other brands but we knew the 319 DSF was the one for us. It is our first RV as well. So far so good, I do a lot of reading and researching so I understand how everything works and I can fix something myself if I have issues. Good luck!

Same here, are you hooking satellite up to your 319?

Yes, I have Directv at home so I just bought the portable tripod and smaller SD dish and I take a receiver from home when we go. If you need HD it kinda sucks with Directv. You need the bigger slimline dish on a tripod or the Winegard Travler which is roof mounted and automatic but also costs like $1,500. I can live with SD for now when camping.

I just ordered the Direct TV HD version dish on a tripod and the H24 receiver. How did you bring the cable into the coach and hook to the TV's if you don't mind me asking?

This is where it gets tricky....you can connect the cable from the dish to the 'cable' input on the passenger side of the coach by the water and electric hatches....BUT.....since that runs directly to the powered OTA amplifier for the TV (mounted on the wall above the sink/counter) you can't just hook up your inside cable to the receiver from that output on the amplifier. You need a diplexer (looks like a splitter) but a diplexer passes the current through that you need for satellite.

I had to cut another hole in the cabinet and install a new wall plate just for the satellite connection and I installed the diplexer inside the wall between the new wall plate and the OTA amplifier. It's not as bad as it sounds really. The other option is to get the flat cable used to pass it through a window. I'll send a pic....

Thanks, I did see a diagram for this and I was hoping I wouldn't have to go this route. It's amazing that satellite connections are not standard in 2016.

The plate on the left is the one I added for the satellite. I tried the flat cable and it was a hassle. This is easy this way. Only thing is even if you do this you will only get satellite to the main tv. I just run a second cable from the dish to the outside TV and take the receiver out there if we are outside.
