After many years of boating the easteran United States and Bahamas I'm giving up aqua yachting and starting a new phase, land yachting! I have a Dynamax 5 30FW on order. Delivery is expected the end of July first of August. My first mate and I are planing our first trip a couple weeks later from Marco Island ,Fl to Nova Scotia. I have a 2015 GMC Canyon to tow. I have plenty of experience with boats but limited with motor homes so any advice will be appreciated. Wife and I and 7lb Shih Tzu off to a new adventures.😎

Welcome to the forum. You will find answers to almost every question you may have.
While planning your first trip take into consideration the real possibility that your delivery date may slip. I would also suggest a short local trip to shake everything out before taking a trip of the magnitude you are planning.
Enjoy.

You should relate to this:

An RV is a hole in the air surrounded by aluminum, foam and fiberglass, into which you pour your money.

Welcome to the lifestyle.
