Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum, but been camping for years; from tents, to pop-up to renting motor homes remotely. We've had our current rig for a year now, a 2015 Coachman Freedom Express 192RBS.

Leaving on a trip to Maine and Nova Scotia soon. Looking into a new GPS; top of the list is a Garmin RV 770 LMT-S if anyone has experience with that unit.

We have that Garmin. No problems with it and we like the rv services on it. Like the larger display also.

Like most GPS units... trust but verify. All GPS units depend on maps that might or might not be accurate. (With an older unit, we ended up in an road surrounded by an onion field in New York)

We've found the closer we get to a destination, the more reliable the information on rv parks, local attractions, restaurants, etc. becomes.

I have a Rand McNally RVND 5510. It has a lot of good internal RV info like campground info and hight and weight restrictions. I hate it for its routing mistakes, drives me crazy. I use my cell phone app called Waze. It is great and free. It has real time traffic rerouting, hazard alerts and police notifications.

Try waze you will love it.
