Hey all!

Just bought a new Pallomino Puma, alluminum trailer with a fibre glass front end cap. The dealer is suggesting Diamond Kote. It's super expensive and just looking to see if the exterior protection is worth it in your opinion.

Thank you!

Welcome from South Jersey. You could buy a lot of wax for the money they ask. I wouldn't, but that's me. Same with an extended warrenty, no dice.

Welcome from the North Shore Lake Ontario.

As others said......save your money and get ready to camp.

Welcome from SoCal! Those expensive coatings help a little but as stated above, wax is much cheaper. IMO, wax it in spring and in fall and you will be ahead of the game.

I’ll let you know in due time how it works out for me.
I’m shelling out the dough for the diamond kote on my 19FBS. Will pick it up this spring.

I know I have spent days scrubbing mildew and bugs of my rpod’s Fiberglas roof and front.
I hope to be doing something else much more fun instead of that here on out.

Purely a waste of your money. I suppose it depends on how ambitious you are. It's just like the gel coat protection the car dealers throw at you when you buy a new car. They are counting on the fact that most folks are too busy or too lazy to maintain their units with that kind of personal attention. Not me. I take pride in what my rig looks like, so I hand wash it and apply wax made for antique show cars. But that's just me, cuz I'm a nut. The point is, I am satisfied with my work when I am done. Oops! I have rambled. Sorry.
