Hello and welcome from northern Arizona! Our 2012 Ram 1500 Hemi tows our 2013 Surveyor 220, a 25' 5000lb trailer, just great with a healthy safety margin of weight, braking and power. On a nice flat stretch of highway at 60mph I have gotten 14mpg towing but since I put BF Goodrich all terrain KO 2's on it I only get 12mpg. But, you don't tow for the mpg and we live on a crummy dirt road and I needed the KO 2's. Happy Camping!

new here

we put in 45 days of camping in 2017. and already have40 in 2018. just retired in november and bought the truck on monday and the trailer from a friend on thursday. wanted to test it out locally that weekend. nothing was available as it was the first day of hunting season. filled it up with what we usually take and left for florida the next saturday. 1200 mile road test. everything was almost brand new. the stove had never been turn on. spent 45 days in florida. best time in years.

I'm jealous! Welcome to the forum from MN. Did i mention i was jealous? I won't be retiring until the house is paid off, which according to my mortgage statement is in 14 years when I'm 72.
Have fun.
