Hello, everyone.

My husband and I are currently renovating our 2004 Forest River 3100LE Sunseeker. We were boaters for over 25 years and now we are going to try RVing.

We are having an issue with dampness/water in the passenger side up top in the cab. My husband looked at the window and it doesn't seem to be coming in there. Anyone with any ideas and suggestions to correct this matter would be greatly appreciated.

We look forward to camping and having correspondence with other campers.

Thank you and have a great day.

I would start looking at the seams on the roof where they meet the cabover section the caulking might need to be redone. Also welcome from Delaware!!!

Welcome from the Roof Garden of PA and the Laurel Highlands.

Have you checked the roof?

Water can infiltrate in areas, often times, away from where you notice the leak.

Please don't use silicone to seal anything. Once silicone is used, many other products will not stick to the base material. A product called Dicor works well for sealing up seams and metal roofs. It comes in several types, from caulk gun tubes to cans of sealant that you paint on.

Need GPS, etc for Forest River RV

Thank you for all of the response in regards to our water/leak in cab area. We believe we got it fixed.

Also, we need to purchase a GPS, back up camera, Bluetooth FM radio for in dash radio opening which is 7 1/2 inches wide by 4 inches high. It's in a 2003 Ford E450 Super Duty. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you.

I too love the name. You will have to splain it sometime.

Any auto stereo shop can assist you on the dash kit.
