Hello,

I just found this forum while searching for info on my new (to me) 2011 Forest River Surveyor SV264LE. This is my second trailer, replacing my old faithful 1977 Serro Scotty which I restored when I got it 20-some years ago. It was time for something bigger and I got a good deal on a very clean used unit. If anyone is looking for a small vintage trailer for a project, I have the Scotty for sale.

My primary mission has me doing a lot of boondocking (for up to 2 weeks at times) so a good solar system is high on the list of projects, along with a few cosmetic things and a general good cleaning. I'm looking forward to using it this summer and to learning a lot about these machines on this forum.

Thanks for having me.

You're going to learn a lot about how to add solar and go offgrid.
Welcome to the forum!

And welcome from another Wisconsin camper. We live near Baraboo (close to Devil's Lake and Wisconsin Dells.) I can see the bluffs of Devils Lake from my living room. We prefer Devils Lake over the Dells anytime.
I hope that you enjoy you new to you camper and don't have any unpleasant surprises in cleaning it up.
Where do you go to boondock for 2 weeks at a time?

I used to go to Devil’s Lake a lot as a kid. What a beautiful spot.

Here’s where I boondock for 2 weeks every year. A bit unconventional, but probably the largest campground on the planet for a couple weeks.

I told my wife that I want to go camping at EAA this year. I think that I will be going alone due to a new granddaughter that needs gramma's undivided attention.
I will probably only stay a couple of days.
