New Member, New Owner, and New Camper

Greetings from South Louisiana. Wife and I just purchased a 2022 Rockwood 2022 Mini Lite 2506S. We are new to the camper world and look forward to all that comes with it...especially having a way to escape hurricanes.

Escaping hurricanes with a camper is tricky. You need to leave early before the winds pick up or you'll be blown all over the road in addition to being stuck in traffic.
Welcome to the rving community. If you need advice, there are lots of people here willing to help.

No doubt. We were always willing to leave, but finding a place to go was the issue. Post-Ida (12 days without power) we decided that a travel trailer would provide flexibility in addition to being able to go new places throughout the year! We look forward to tapping the knowledge on this forum.

Welcome from SW Florida. went from a Class A DP to a 5th wheel. few times i just wanted to sleep in it instead of the house. It's like going to a hotel within 20 feet from the front door of the house.
