Welcome from Long Island. My grandparents owned a farm in Vineland many years ago.

Hitting up Beachcomber in a few hours, it will be our first stay there. Did Lake Laurie last weekend, needs work but they are in the process of doing a ton of it so I can't fault them. They are running new electric and water sewer, new parks as well as updated office, pool and activities center. Should be pretty nice when they are done.

We've stayed at Beachcomber a couple of times. Found it to be a little tight for the Berk.

Lake Laurie used to be a Coast Guard CG. The company that bought it has also purchased Seashore & a bunch of other CG.

My sources tell me that it's Warren Buffet's company.

Yep, all the campgrounds around the Cape are getting bought up. Only a matter of time before the prices hike up even higher.
Reference was made to Lake Laurie being a Coast Guard campground. My family was seasonal there 20 plus years ago and I don't remember it ever being Coasties. Any more info on that?

Lake Laurie used to be listed as a military CG run by the Coasties. When they started to close some of the bases, it got the axe.

Civilians were allowed to camp there because it wasn't physically located on a military base.
