New Member Short Pump Virginia
I have been a lurker on this forum for some time and finally joined last night so I can participate in the discussions.

We traded in our 2003 Starcraft Galaxy on a new 2015 Rockwood Roo 19 in October. We managed to get one trip in after a month long bunk end canvas replacement due to holes found during PDI. That short trip uncovered a larger issue with the bunk end door frame/hinge pulling away from the body. Still waiting for that warranty work to be completed. A long story I hope to share in another thread.

Guess we took a similar path as many from backpacking, to car camping to the popup to our new Roo hybrid.

So much great information here, looking forward to many hours spent reading and sharing with you all.

Welcome from north central Florida! We used to live in Louisa. We had a pop up then and really enjoyed camping in Virginia and West Virginia. Our first camping trip in it was a shake down trip to King's Dominion. What fond memories! I hope you have many memories from your future trips.

Really have liked all the Va state parks we have visited. Pocahontas and James River in central Va are great.

Sherando Lake is very nice as well. Site have electricity but no water or sewer hookup. There are water and dump stations to fill and empty your tanks. No cell or OTA TV service makes it a nice getaway.
