2018 FR3 28DS
We love ours. We purchased it April 2017. It is the right size for us. It is parked in our driveway when we are not using it.

I like the bathroom layout, but I replaced the Dometic 300 toilet with a Dometic 320 elongated ceramic toilet.

Read the thread FR3 Pictures of Mods. It will show some of the ways FR3s are used & modified.

I was sorry to hear Forest River is no longer making the FR328DS for 2019.

See SIG below for a few of the improvements we have done to make it home on the road.

Thank you so much Robert!! I will ask my husband to check out the mods you do! I’m so happy to hear that you love it - I’ve been so nervous about it being such a big purchase and all and there seeem to be endless horror stories online of people who have problem after problem with their new RV! Thank you for taking the time to respond! I hope we do get up to Alaska some day soon. It is on our bucket list for sure!!!

Every RV will have problems. We have a had a few minor issues and only one major slide issue repaired under warranty last year.

Also check to be sure your FR328DS roof was repaired if it is on the attached Tech Built: FR3 technical-service-bulletin.pdf

Check VIN numbers starting on page 20.
