My wife and I are picking up our 2017 Rockwood 2502KS Travel Trailer on Monday. We are brand new to RV'ing, and excited to get started. Hope to meet new local friends in Jacksonville and online friends beyond.

Welcome from north central Florida! There are a lot of great places to camp in north Florida. We drove into Anastasia Island State Park in October to see the RV sites and thought it was pretty in there. We also like Wekiva State Park in Apopka. Be on the lookout for our Florida FROG Rally that we hold in September. It will be the last weekend this year and starts Thursday evening through Sunday morning.

WOW congrats on your new Camper. Welcome from just down the road in Putnam county, There are some really good camping areas near us. Great for quick weekend trips or longer. Be sure to check out the plethora of State Parks near us/you..

UPDATE: Dick Gore in St. Augustine did a great job with the walkthrough and final paperwork. We drove the RV home to Mandarin with no problems and managed to back it into the driveway with minimal effort. We did have a problem releasing the hitch lock, but someone from Dick Gore came all the way to Mandarin to help. I couldn't have asked for better customer service.
