New owner of Flagstaff 26fkws

Hi everyone. My DH and I are new owners of Flagstagg 26 fkws. Had a class A but it was too costly to keep up. Went back to TT (we had a 2005 Flagstaff 26fks before). Towing with an F150. Went to Boone, NC 2 weeks ago and got 18.2 mpg. We were really happy about that as we only got 10mpg with MH and previous tow vehicle. Anyone else out there getting good mpg please let me know. Thanks.

Welcome from So Cal! I only get 12-14 mph towing but I'm usually dealing with traffic and don't travel that far. A co-worker brought a MH and from everything she has mention it's quite an investment.

Happy camping!

What is your tow vehicle? Would live to get to Southern Cal someday.

Not as much as I would like but I can't complain. I usually head to the beach during the warmer months but I avoid camping in the hotter months. Right now I'm waiting for November to come so I can be comfortable weather wise.

What about you? Do you camp often?

Love to go to the local state park for the weekends, the mountains for longer trips. Haven't been to the beach yet. We live 3 hrs from mountains and 3 from beach, but the lake at the state park is only 30 minutes away. Don't like to go when it is 100 degrees and humid. Have a week lined up in Oct in the Blue Ridge Parkway.

I'm about an hour or so away from the beach or mountains and closer to 2 hours for the desert. I make good use of a local campground in my area - great for quick get-away especially after a hard work day.
