New owners of a 2009 Sabre 32 BHTS

Greetings,
Been lurking for a few days and thought it's time to introduce myself. We're scheduled to pick up a lightly used 2009 Sabre 32 BHTS middle of next week, and our first camping trip is set for next weekend. We're upgrading from a Laredo 26BH that was too small for our family.

Any current or past Sabre 5th wheel owners have any feedback on the quality of the camper? It has several features we were looking for (e.g. half bath, 16" wheels/tires, 6K axles, etc)

We bought our Sabre last spring and pulled it about 6000 klms. We had a water leak at a window,b ut the wind was pretty strong at that time. I siliconed around all the windows and all is well now.
We love our trailer too!

We sold our Keystone Laredo 26BH today and it was a little sad to see it go!! But the Sabre just feels a lot better for us. Maiden voyage is next weekend and we're all excited.

Keep us all informed...we are looking at the 2011 model (as well as simular models). Not too hip on the pocket doors, but its just a visual thing...other than that the floor plan works well.

Oh and let us know how your Dodge pulls it...seeing as we have one too!

Our first camping trip went well and everything in 32BHTS works well.

Here a few observations:
1. Camper is well insulated (sound and cold weather).
2. Plenty of under belly storage (heated too)
3. Cabinets need more shelves -- way more (future mod)
4. Tows much better than our previous 5th wheel (Laredo 26BH)
5. Will probably install power scissor jack/stabilizers (getting lazy)
6. Power outlets in kitchen area make it a challenge to plug in coffee maker or toaster (cords on our appliances barely reach or not at all)
7. Pocket door in master actually kept some of the noise from kids at bay (some, not all)
7a. Pocket doors in bunk area--our 3 y/o daughter was fascinated with them and kept opening/closing (got old after a while)
8. Nice having 1.5 baths, very nice!

Had to climb up the rear ladder this morning and sweep 2-3inches of wet snow off each slide before we could bring them in. Wonder if slide awnings would help or something else to break.

Good to know as we want to venture off in your neck of the woods someday. And I should have clarified the pocket doors for the bunks... But having them open up make the trailer seem much larger.

Definitely a larger feel when the pocket doors are opened. We found it challenging keep the little ones from playing with them (opening/closing every couple of minutes). Maybe next trip they'll focus on something else!!

The slide awning's would have helped with the couple of inches of snow (I dont like spelling that "s" word anymore) Have fun...hope warmer weather is in your future !! Nice picture !!

Ok you bring up something we did not think about... The awnings over the slides. Would anyone recommend them? Or should I search another thread!?
