New Owners of Vengeance 38L12 w/'problems'

Hi!!

"We" are Randy & Denice Rader and have a 2016 Forest River Vengeance 38L12.

It's a 43 ft 5th Wheel Toy Hauler that we use for both business & pleasure.

We pulled the trailer to SC, parked it for a week, leaving sides expanded, but turning the "master switch" to OFF.

Upon returning, the refrigerator has power (both AC & DC) but will not cool and the microwave has no power at all.

Any suggestions??

You say both AC and DC. Is the camper plugged in to adequate shore power? Or just parked somewhere?

You mentioned A/C so I gonna assume you have shore power. You said master switch off. Was that the AC main breaker or the battery switch? Does the fridge work on gas?

Check the GFI in the bathroom. Sometimes they power the Microwave on a GFI circuit. 45 years of electric experience and I can't understand why they do it? It is not required. As for the Fridge, Look at the thermister on the right side of the fins. It may have fallen off. If so put it back in the holder and slide it about 1/3 of the way up. Up is colder, down is warmer.
