Hope you have better luck than our neighbor. 3000 miles from home, Brand new Cougar, delivered in June. ALL 3 slides failed and keystone would not approve a mobile tech to survey the problem. They limped back home and the dealer will have their 5ver until March or April as all 3 slides have to be tore out and the entire system rebuilt.

Planning on it. Our first SOB we did a fairly good job but missed a few areas but luck had it no issues or anything wrong. This one we will be going over with a fine tooth comb and won't leave/pay until all is good.

42dskg

We are thinking of getting one.
What are you pulling it with and what kind of hitch do you plan to use

I have a 2021 Ram 3500 4x4 dwl with the HO with Air and 8' bed. Currently using rig from my last Ram 2500 6' bed. Curt Q20 on a slider. Getting ready to swap it with the new Reese M5 32k, only because the truck can haul 32k. Price diff between a 20k, 27k and 32k was not that huge so 32k it is. Not sure if I will have it before we pick it up, will be close. No concerns though, the Curt will do it for it will be empty.

Thanks for the reply— I have a f 250 gas pulling a 30’ toy hauler so I know I need to move up. Just wasn’t sure either a 350 or a 450.

If it was me, I would go with the F450 just for the better turning radius if nothing else.

I would say there are a lot of things to look at. How much hauling will you do, how much does the RV weigh, will a short bed with a slider be good or use a long bed, how much of a cushion do you want when it comes to towing capacity and what you plan on hauling, how much do you want to spend on your towing rig etc...

I had a 2017 Ram 2500 with the 6.4 Hemi and it was great for most applications. The SOB that I am selling weighs 15k empty and 18k loaded. The truck struggled a bit going up through the mountains but it did it however, it was more weight for safely braking. Never had an issue but...

Now that I have this new truck I have no worries. Do the research on how much weight you will tow, what can safely tow it and how much you are willing to spend. If I could afford a bigger truck than the 3500 I may have gone that route. Remember, you can get anything to move but it's the stopping that matters.

So we picked it up today!! Only found two issues. First was tire pressures ranged from 105 -120 psi so I got them all set. Second was the cold water hose for the washer was kinked and would never have allowed water to pass. Took them 30 min to remove and replace. All in all we are happy. I find the 2.1 JBL Soundbar somewhat disappointing/lacking but other than that all is good. Will be keeping an eye out on the hydraulics though, to make sure the front landing gear does not come down.
