New Rockwood Roo Owner

Hello everyone, first time owner. Very excited picking up my 2018 rockwood roo 19 next thursday. Any suggestions or insight on what to buy and do right away is appreciated. wanted to get something mangable for our first and yet big enough for our family of 4 with 3 big boys. Planning on using it for showcase baseball travel and a trip out west (from NC) this summer. Hopefully I didn't bite of more than i can chew.

Hi and Welcome to FRF!
As a former Roo owner, suggest that you check out the Roo/Shamrock sub-forum, in the Hybrid section of the Forum.

Welcome to the forum. If pickng up at a dealer make sure to do a good PDI and make them fix anything that is not working . Don't leave the lot till all is fix or it will be a long wait to get in to get fixed. Don't let let rush you take your time and ask a lot of questions. Good luck. Later RJD

Here is some reading that may help get you started, as it is aimed at first timers and some of the more common things they may encounter:

Welcome that will be nice to follow the sports along with. I would just suggest making sure that your hitch is set up properly before you head out to far. Also make sure that u hav black tank treatment and necessary hoses. Other than that ul figure out what you need wen u start using it.
Just post any specific questions that u come up with here and u will get plenty of great advice
Enjoy

Congrats and good luck on the trip!

One of our best upgrades was reflectix panels and solar blankets for the top of the bed ends...we use them both frequently in hot and cold weather which make the hybrid beds feel more like a regular trailer and help darken things for good sleep.

Check your tires and if possible look into an upgrade like Goodyear Endurance.

We have taken our 233s Roo on multiple long trips over the years in all kinds of weather and it has proven to be a great trailer!

Yep, Popup Gizmos and Reflectix are the #1 Hybrid mod.
