New Roo Owner

Hi, All!

The wife and I just picked up our new 23 IKSS Roo today. We're both excited and looking forward to our first get away.
However, I have already run into a brake controller problem and am heading to that forum. Wish me luck.

Welcome and congrats on the new camper. I just picked mine up yesterday as well. I got a Roo 233S.

Good luck with your brake controller issue.

Welcome to the forums & congrats on the 23 IKSS Roo! What problem are you having with the brake controller? Have you had a change to drop by the other forum for feedback on it?

Brake Controller

I have a Prodigy controller that I bought ten years ago with my Coleman Westlake pop up.

I had unplugged it a year or so ago and, when I plugged it back in to use with the new Roo, it gave a "short" message. I was 99% sure the wiring was ok and read somewhere that the message could be caused by the controller.

I bought a new Prodigy P2 and plugged it in with great apprehension. It turns out it was the controller and now everything is fine.

We are now trying to figure out where to go on our first outing.

Thanks for the greeting!

Bob

Glad to hear that the controller issue is taken care of. I had a problem with my P2 brake and long story short it turned out that it wasn't in the correct position. Now if I don't see the BC code I know to remove it and re-insert.

If this is your first RV taking a trip in the local area can be helpful. It still provides you a chance to tow, set up camp but you can start enjoying the RV faster.
