New RV owner-to-be from Georgia

Hi, my wife and I have made the decision and have started to process to take the plunge into RVing. My little 4-cylinder Ford Ranger just will not tow a travel trailer, so I just bought a 2015 Ford F-150 SuperCrew 4X4 with short bed and a 3.5L V6 Ecoboost engine with the max tow package. It is listed to be able to tow up to 11,500 pounds, so I think I'm good to tow just about any travel trailer we are looking at. We are looking at the Forest River Avenger 28RKS, as well as the Keystone Sprinter 302RLS and the Keystone Premier 30RIPR, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. We will be taking short, fairly close outings on a regular basis (think once every 4-6 weeks of 2-4 night stays within 200 miles of home). We are also planning on taking 1-2 longer multiple stop tours each year over 1500 miles total. We don't need bunks and want a TT that "feels" like home. Do you have any recommendations or advice?

I don't have any recommendations or advice concerning TT's as I have a 5'er. But I would like to say welcome to the forum and I hope you enjoy whatever it is you settle on. Welcome from South Carolina!

Welcome from NE Fla. A good 2 person TT is the Flagstaff 21FBRS/Rockwood 2109. Weighs in at under 4000# & lots of room & storage. Also other Mini/Micro Lite models to choose from with great floor plans & light weight. Good luck & happy camping.
