New RV Owner Washington State

Hi Folks,

Just wanted to drop in and say, "Hello". We've had our 2016 Forest River 3050s now for just over a year. I'm excited to have found this forum now after having had about ten or so trips under our belts this year. This is our first RV and we're learning a TON.

What part of the state, and where do you like to camp? There are several of us here. I'm down south, outside of Vancouver. There are a couple of active members up above Seattle as well.

Welcome from Bow. We moved here from Kirkland; Fin Hill area.
Our AnaSam camping group will do our first "camp out" during the week of May10 up river from here; our first since 2019.
Again, welcome.

When I lived in Seattle, we quickly formed the East Side Club. Anything east of the Cascade Crest for camping.

Ppine, I looked up the url for Good Sam Chapters: Try

https://www.goodsam.com/club/chapters/
We are all vaccinated here, so hopefully, we can do some group camp outs this year. We are going up Hy #20 to Howard Miller park on the Skagit in two weeks.

Hi, I'm from Auburn, WA. Welcome to the Forums. Can't think of anyplace better to get great information about trailers and RVs.

What part of Washington state are you from? It sounds like you also did some winter camping with owning your trailer for a year and ten trips? I love camping and winter camping is a different kind of fun.

You keep saying that. Does it occur to you that people might be trying to engage the OP in conversation? Are you his lawyer?

Not a lawyer.
But as a moderator, we try to point out areas where members can access information. Many members are unaware of the Profile area. It's also an area to determine information on the member's RV, if they properly filled it out.
Pointing out the Profile area as a resource for members, doesn't need to be defended.

And it needed to be pointed out in post #3 AND post #12? When I meet a new camper at the campground, I *often* ask where they are from. This DESPITE being able to clearly see the license plate on their truck.

Obviously, I've been doing "social" wrong my whole life
