New RVer from Washington State
Hello all,
Pulled the trigger on a 2021 FR Vibe West 24RL travel trailer.
We do the walk thru and sign final papers this Saturday.
We are stepping off in the deep end right away as the dealership is down in Eugene Oregon(we live up in Snohomish, Wa) so we have a night scheduled at the KOA in Longview/St Helen's area.
I'm not too worried as I've towed a 2655 Bayliner Sunbridge back around 1998. Don't think it will be much different, I hope.

I did just the opposite two weeks ago. I live in Lebanon, Oregon, just north of Eugene. I went to a dealer in Spokane to pick up my trailer. Stayed Saturday night in Memaloose State Park. While there I found that the screw-on fittings to the sink in the bathroom and back of the toilet were leaking. I lived in Stanwood for many years before moving to Oregon.
So, one hint during the walkthrough - on all accessible screw-on fittings where either PEX or the nylon braid hose goes into a fitting, wiggle the tubing a little bit with the plumbing system pressurized. If the screw-on fitting is not tight enough, you will see the leak when you wiggle the tubing. Also make sure all the trim pieces around the skylights and vents have all the screws in them. Make sure all the screens are securely and completely clipped into the window frames.
And if your trailer was supposed to come with a mattress upgrade (or any other upgrade), check to make sure the mattress in there is the upgrade. I did not catch that my trailer did not have the Serta mattress upgrade it was supposed to come with and now the manufacturer (Venture RV) is saying the had to "substitute" the standard mattress because they were out of stock on the upgrades. Well, that is not a substitution, that is a downgrade and you have a lot more leverage getting things fixed at the dealership before you complete the PDI and take it off the lot. Also make sure you can hear (and feel) the furnace, water heater, and refrigerator actually burning propane when set to gas mode and turned on.

Thanks, this is good information for the PDI walk.
We went thru the dealer in Eugene as their price was $10K less than what we could get it for up here(was one in Pasco, but it was pending)

Welcome from Wisconsin. Congrats and enjoy your 2021 FR Vibe West 24RL.
FYI there is a PDI checklist under the Library tab above that you can print out and take with you. Use the parts that pertain to you.

Welcome from Billings and we hope you enjoy. We also just purchased and are waiting for the weather to warm just a bit more before we take our maiden trip.
