Hi my name is Savy and I just bought my first Forest River 2007 Rockwood Rv travel trailer. My husband and I have spent the last year being homeless and living on the streets of Las Vegas and SF Bay Area because our landlord unexpectedly had a brain aneurysm burst. His siblings left all 5 of us + 5 dogs & 2 cats homeless in a matter of a couple of days. This past October I turned 35 and to my surprise I was receiving my inheritance from my mother. It’s been 11 years and I was told there was nothing. I’m positive my mom would be very happy with my decision. I guess it’s technically our first home and I Love it. After having the rv for 4 days some ******* stole our Chevy Tahoe. We are currently stranded at the Alameda County Fairgrounds Rv park until we can get a Vehicle. If anyone has or knows someone with a vehicle or can tow my 27ft trailer to Southern California where i will enroll for school. It feels great to have the our life getting back on track.
Glad you've got a new rv home and sorry about your troubles.
You might want to see if you can find someone to deliver your rv to you new location in southern CA. We've met a lot of people who do not have vehicles to tow their rigs and they hire someone to tow them to their new location. There are companies that perform that service. There are also companies like Uhaul that rent trucks that can tow.
