New to Forest River

Hi,

My wife, Barbara, and I have been RVing for many years and have had many different RVs. Our most recent was a Tiffin Phaeton 40 QDH which we traded in on our current Cedar Creek Cottage CRL. We have had the Cottage going on two months and are quite happy with it. We have found the people at the Forest River factory to be very responsive and helpful. The few small problems we;ve had so far have been addressed promptly and efficiently.

We love the 42 inch TV and find the Dometic air conditioners much more efficient than the Coleman units on our previous coach. The front AC is much quieter, but I can't say the same for the rear. The roof seems to be much better insulated than our motorhome...We can barely hear a heavy rain on the roof of our Cottage but it sounded like rocks dropping on our Phaeton. The inside lighting can stand some improvement but isn't too bad.

We look forward to learning and contributing on this forum.

Hi, Tom and Barb....
Hubby and I are looking at the Cottage CFL.
Do you have any advice or suggestions on the buying process? We saw one at the LazyDays RV in Tucson, AZ.
How is the Cottage holding up?
Do you have any suggestions for add-ons/modifications?
thanks for any input!
