New to forest river

Well pulled the trigger on a Hyper Lite XLR 30HFS5. Will be picking it up next week after a few things are added on. Getting a Onan LP 5500 watt genny added as the trailer is pre wired for it. Also adding a rear hitch so I can bring my boat if going to a lake.

Will be the first toy hauler for me, previous trailer was a 24' terry 5th wheel. It was good but time for an upgrade.

Quick search found me this site so signed up.

Welcome to FRF and congrats on the Hyper Lite XLR! This is a great site for information. Beware of the "mods" thread because your to-do list can be pretty long with great ideas from other members.

Welcome to the forum !
One observation would be that I'd check with forest river about adding a hitch to the back.
In most or some cases it will void your warranty.
If your not concerned with that then please carry on.

Theres a thread on here for posting pictures of your rig as well as your camping sites for the year.

Have fun!

Well last Thursday evening I picked up my new trailer. Tried it out on the weekend and so far so good. Little guy loves his new room (in garage once toys are out) More floor space than the older one. Generator ran mint, likes propane but having the ability to cool down is well worth it.

Can't wait for Friday now to do it all over again!!

Welcome to the forums.

A couple of extra 30 pound tanks may keep the genny happy.

An observation.
You may wish to lift the front legs to a full tuck position.
