Smile New to forum.

Hello all,
Hopefully this is the right forum for me. I'm a bit confused if this forum is for trailers or fifth wheels only or also includes Class A, B, and C RV's? I attempted one post to an already established thread and immediately was politely informed it wasn't relevant to the thread and to please delete it. That being said I kind soul messaged me and said my post was relevant so in time I'll get this forum etiquette figured out.

I'm brand new to RV'ing and have a ton of questions so please be patient with my lack of background information and experience when I ask what to others will seem like questions with obvious answers. I drive a Coachmen Freelander 23BB. A small class C about 25ft.

Finally, I have a forum question. What is the difference between a "thread" and a "thread starter"? I saw that posted at the top of the welcome mat forum and keppt clicking between the two trying to understand the difference. Also, is there a way to save drafts of posts so I can finish them later? Also, I'm trying to figure out how to create a signature to my posts. Something that gives my name and rig description.

Much thanks and happy holidays,

Louie

Welcome to the forum. Lots of knowledgeable folks here to help ya. This forum cover all types of RVs so find your thread pertaining to your type of RV and then check it out. A thread starter is one that starts a new question on a thread that pertains to your RV. Threads are the different topics on this site. Lots. Hope this helps later RJD

This forum is mainly for owners of Forest River products.
FR makes all types of RVs except Class Bs.
So if you look in the different sections, there's one for Motorhomes, Travel Trailers and 5th Wheels, Toyhaulers, Hybrids and Tent Campers/A-frames/Truck Campers.

Within those sections are the FR brands of each type.

For you, the Motorhome section's Coachmen sub-forum forum would be a good place to start for your MH.

Sure Forest River makes class B we own Coachmen Concord and it's classified as class B. Look on coachmen motor home and you will be in right neighborhood

I'd like to know who you think is classifying your 300DS as a Class B.

Coachman thinks it's a Class C (and so do I).

Concord Class C Motorhomes by Coachmen RV

Class B's are typically van campers.

In November of 2015 my wife and I purchased a 2016 coachmen concord from MHSRV. I sat with the sales man and wrote a check for full payment of our coach then in return I received the title for our coachmen concord and it stated in clear English Coachmen Concord B + Motor home. Also MHSRV classified the concord as B+ as well as coachmen. You know nothing about our concord classification as you clearly don't own one and it is not my job to explain my statements to you. You pull a little trailer go pull it.

Well excuse ME, Mr. Scrooge. You're absolutely right. I know nothing about your concord classification, which is WHY I questioned it. And rather than answer the question, you wrote a nasty response to "research it myself." Boy, are you the friendly helper. And heaven forbid someone might disagree with you. And then you got nasty. You must be fun a family gatherings.

I'm thinking your dealer simply pulled a fast one; but believe what you want.

Cut the nonsense. You clearly challenged my knowledge. One more thing! The manufacturer writes the title. ( Coachmen ) not the dealer. So I don't think MHSRV pulled any fast one as they are the largest most reputable dealer in the country

And apparently you feel that "challenging your knowledge" gives you an excuse to be nasty. Maybe this forum isn't for you.
