New to Forum, Help me update a 2014 Solera 24R

We are in the process of buying a 2014 Forest River Solera 24R, I want to learn all about this vehicle and what we can do to make it comfortable on the road and to live in. I am looking to update the seats (have already read the blog on the Knoedler Air Suspension Seats) and any other upgrades that make it easy to use and comfortable to live in. We have been a trailer family for 10 years, newbie's to RV'ing yet very excited to be able to hop in and be on the road. Appreciate any help. We live in CA and look forward to seeing our beautiful nation up close, also welcome any trip tips or special sites to see or group meetings.

Most of the upgrades about your vehicle are on the Solera and MBS forums. Many have added Helwig sway bars and sumo springs to improve handling. Adding an emergency start switch is discussed and a good idea. Other upgrades depend on you needs. There is a lot to read . If you are purchasing the Solera from a dealer then look into the curt controller recall. Your unit may be affected and the dealer could take care of it before sale. Otherwise you will need to work it out with forest river. Not a critical problem but eventually needs to be adressed.
