New to Me - 2007 Cherokee 28+
Good afternoon, everyone! Signed in from Prescott, AR.
We purchased a used 2007 Cherokee 28+ a few weeks ago. I was trying to find owner's manuals, which I have been somewhat successful. I found a generic manual on the Cherokee website, but it gives generic information about the AC and other applicanes. I have attempted to search for links in this forum pertaining to such, but have been unsuccessful at that attempt.
I am specifically looking for the AC owner's manual, as well as the actual manual itself so that my husband and I have an idea of what we're doing or not doing.
Can anyone help?

If you mean the a/c(air conditioner), you need to get the make and model number of it and download the manual from the manufacturer's website.

Thank you. That's what I meant. We just purchased the camper and when turned to auto and thermostat adjusted, the AC kicks off and on like someone is flipping a light switch. However, if it's set low enough to continuously run, of course, it doesn't do that. Any ideas what I should check first? I'll check the manufacturer's website as well. I am just trying to find out what could be going on.

If you put the thermostat to auto it will cycle on and off when it reaches the set temp. If you turn to run position it will stay running but cycles to fan only when temp is reached but then will cycle the ac back on again when it needs to go to your cool setting. Later RJD

Thanks, but I know how it is "supposed to work." The problem is it cycles off and on like someone is flipping a light switch. (Off, on, off, on, off, on....and so on CONTINUOUSLY) Unless it is set to on, it keeps doing this. I'm trying to find a solution or a possible place to start so that it shuts off like it's supposed to until the temp needs to be reduced to the set temp.
