New to motorhomes. Whats with the frogs?

I have camped and RV'ed with a tent camper but this is my first foray into motorhomes. I have mixed feelings, but it seems to get better (after the bills are paid). i have read a number of the posts in various subjects and noticed a lot of references to FROGS Whats with the frogs?
