New to pop ups

Hello everyone!

Just bought my first pop up camper so I'm a newb to the hobby. I'm an eagle Scott so I love camping, but I'm old enough to need air conditioning. I got it to escape the Florida summers by running to the mountains. When I get there I plan to ride my mountain bike up and down them repeatedly. Any fellow mtb riders here?

Welcome from Wisconsin and congrats on your 1st popup. You might want to consider the Reflectix mod to help keep some of the cool air in. Get some Reflectix which is basically bubble wrap with foil on each side. Cut it to fit the bunk end window areas between the screen and flap.

Welcome from Eastern Nebraska / Northwest Missouri.

We had two popups in the 80's both without A/C. I always considered an A/C in a popup about as useful as a screen door on a submarine.

Ac worked great . More weight on the roof was the only concern . It made camping in Myrtle Beach and Florida wonderful.

Welcome from just east of Toronto.

I believe that FRF member bikendan has a couple very expensive mountain bikes.
