new to RVing

Hi. I'm new to the RV thing. We picked up a used 5th wheel last spring. Had I know more about them I would have gotten the price down another $1000 or so. As is it is a fairly solid rig with no sign of water leaks and I have everything working as it should. We took it to Saskatchawan, then did some boondocking here in NorthWestern Ontario, then down to ThunderBay for a week. It was on the way home from ThunderBay that a spring broke. I have been a mechanic in the North all my life so I found ways to get it home and change the springs in my driveway. RV specific parts are a bit of a problem with the nearest dealer being 4 hr. away.
not sure how much traveling we'll do this summer with the fuel prices as high as they are and going up. Also with covid restrictions being less I could get a decent season of guiding work. I've missed out on that income the last 2 years.

Unfortunately, it doesn't automatically show that info on this forum.
Go to the bar at the top and find UserCP, then go to Signature and enter your info there and save it. Sounds like you've got the skills to handle the repairs on that rig which will save you money. Hopefully you can get some rving in between guiding.
