New to RVing from Northern Arizona

Hello All!

Just bought my very first camper 15 days ago! It is a 2021 Flagstaff 28TSCSE.
So far it's been sitting in my side yard setup so that the kiddos can "camp" in it!
Also so I can get better familiar with it.
Already I am thinking of ways to modify it to better suit my family's needs.
I am also new to forums and am excited to be apart of this one to be able to learn from others experiences.
Thanks!

welcome from down in payson. good idea to try it out at home. be careful of leaving water in the plumbing as you get freezing weather. but enjoy!

Thanks CHICKDOE! yeah the dealership down in the valley filled up all the water tanks!

I quickly realized that I needed to get them emptied asap!! I did notice that some water that was left over in the lines had popped off one of the faucet handles...i put a new o ring on it and reinstalled. hopefully it didn't do any other damage!

I haven't seen any other issues...fingers crossed!

Welcome from Southern California!
Suggest you camp with it first before you modify. Enhancements, yes but wait for experience to modify.

i'd be getting antifreeze in it real fast! or at least blow out the lines with air.

we belong to a rv group with a bunch of people from the valley. none of them winterize but i have to living up in the mountains with freezing temperatures.

we were supposed to get some snow last night but didn't. now they say next week.

Equally important are the plumbing lines in the trailer. Open the low point drains (red and blue) and open the faucets to get out the water. Empty the water heater too and blow out the lines with compressed air (40-50psi) at the minimum.
Hope you and the kids are having fun 'driveway camping'. Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your purchase from Texas.

Welcome to the forum. Enjoy your new TT. Did the Snow Bowl open yet? From Illinois but have a home in Goodyear.
