New to Sandpiper, but not Forest River

Hey ya'll from North Carolina!!! My wife and I just picked up our new (used) 2010 Sandpiper last week down in Tampa. We made a 2 day whirlwind trip from Raleigh, NC and my 2011 Duramax was a beast pulling it back...thank you Chevrolet!!!
While we are new to the Sandpiper 345RET, we are not new to Forest River as we just sold our 2005 8528GTSS Flagstaff. We were warned by several people prior to purchasing the Flagstaff, not to buy it or other Forest River products. Keeping in mind that the Flagstaff is a lightweight camper and has a less expensive feel than full size FWs, we were well pleased and loved it. Anytime I called Forest River with questions about the Flagstaff, they were always helpful and courteous (never had major issues other than the Concertone, but we will not go there...hehe). Forest River's Customer Service is one reason we considered the Sandpiper. So, now we are ready to take our new FR Sandpiper out west next year. We'll take some trips around good ole NC the rest of this year and hopefully head out west for 4-5 weeks next year. I'm open to any information or tips you can share with me on the Sandpiper. Like the majority of the RVer's I know, I'm pretty much a do it yourselfer. It looks like this forum is pretty active and I'm excited to become a member and share experiences and knowledge about our Sandpiper, RVing and making memories!
May God bless you all and keep you safe
