Another Cardinal owner

Hi, another Cardinal owner here, welcome to the fourum!

Mine is about nine years older than yours, its a 27RK LX with some upgrades, its got new 16 inch tires/wheels and in great shape.
Nice thing about a older unit is, all the bugs have been worked out of it !!!!
We camped 47 nights this summer and I did not have to do a single thing to the Bird.
One thing you have to look out for on some of these campers with Lippert frames is, cracking above the spring shackles. Lucky for me mine was one of the ones just before they had trouble. Not sure if they have it licked yet, you should give yours a good look over especially underneath. Then go topside and look it over real good too.
Mine came with a tow setup on the back so I got one of those "luggage racks" from Wally Worlds and extended the vertical pieces and then enclosed it with aluminum bars so I can haul firewood, or other stuff.
I have done a few mods so far.
1. Hand bar on the door.
2.Built and installed a towel shelf in the closet in the bathroom.
3.Added a oak board in the hallway with four hooks for towels/clothes.
4.Added a coupla hat hooks by the entrance.
5.Changing out the lights above the dinnette/couch.
6.LED light in behind the steps with switch.
7.Going to put a LED "third brake light" on.
8.Going to put a battery disconnect switch in.
9.Put Max Air covers on all the vents.
10.I want to put spring snaps on the front legs instead of the pins.
11.I need to pull a wheel this spring and check all the brakes/bearings.
12.I took the panel out of above the stove and opened it up for more storage.
13.I added some storage bins in the basement for tools ect.
14.I added some foam pads on the corners of the cabinets beside the bed.
15.Installed a Oxygenics shower head.
16.Installed new vent covers on the vent pipes on the roof.
17.Revamped and installed a luggage rack for firewood.
18.I need to buy and install a Air bag system on my truck.
19.Added some vinyl flooring in the basement cubbys.
20.Going to put a new foam mattress on the bed, we did the 4 inch topper but have decided to just go with a new mattress.
I guess thats about all that I can think of right now
