Looking for info on the Rockwood Mini Lites. The wife and I are leaning that way. It also seems that most owner reviews, positive/negative, hinge on their dealer and not the TT pe say as the minis seem to be solid. That being said, also would like to find the best dealer in the southeast. Any suggestions on existing topics so I dont start something gozillions of people have already been posting about?

Look at the Flagstaff micro lites too. Twins to the Rockwood as they are made on the same assembly line, same floor plans, features, etc. Small difference in the exterior looks. That might open up finding a dealer near you as no dealer is allowed by Forest River to handle both. We liked the Rockwood micro lite 2205S but didn't have a Rockwood dealer close by. We learned that the Flagstaff had the same floor plan/features and we did have a local dealer with a Flagstaff 22FBS in stock. And yes the dealer is important as most will fix/repair only units they sell. Good luck with your search.

Did not know that. Is there any price difference between the two brands?

Jim.....Don't get discouraged. Inventories at most dealers now are pretty slim. Seems lots of folks have "discovered" camping as an alternative to motels during the pandemic. So you may have to order what you want and wait. We found our Salem on RV Trader at a dealer in Chatsworth Georgia (a little south of Chattanooga). Didn't mind the 4 hour drive to get the model I wanted at a reasonable price. My camping partner that followed us all the way to Oregon, had a Mini and yes it was solid and served him well. His only complaint was the cracked front glass, courtesy of a rock from a passing truck in Nebraska. Cliff

Welcome from Iowa. Our 1st TT was a 2019 Flagstaff 21DS. The Micro and Mini Lites IMHO are well built light TTs. We quickly upgraded to a 2020 Flagstaff Super Lite with a separate bedroom. This fit our lifestyle better and makes our camping much more enjoyable. I mention this only as food for thought, many people are very happy in Micro, Mini Lites. Good shopping and enjoy your new unit.
As far as pricing our experience was they are very similar. We used Rockwood pricing to negotiate purchase price for both our TTs

There are way more Rockwood dealers than Flagstaff dealers nationwide. Therefore there's more competition on Rockwood pricing.
Two of the RV dealers that started the online RV "wholesale" presence, RVW and RV Direct both sell Rockwoods and have some of the best prices in the country.
