New to the forum;

Hello, Everyone:

I just wanted to introduce ourselves. We are Dave & Janelle and Scarlett, our barely 2 years old rescue puppy. Actually, this would read "Scarlett and staff", except that she has not figured out how to type yet. Scarlett is part Chihuahua (so the DNA test said) but she weighs in at 50 pounds. So, the Chihuahua side is back a generation or so! Part hound is the other side.

We live in Houston, Texas. We have owned a 1994 30Ft Sunrise and a 1995 Alpenlite 34Ft AppleTree 5th wheel. We just delivered the Alpenlite to PPL here in Houston (On consignment) for them to sell for us. So now we are minus a 5th wheel and having withdrawal pains !

We are looking forward to getting back into traveling with our new 5th wheel, whatever it turns out to be. Since we still work, our travels are long weekends and short vacations. We haven’t been out in our Alpenlite for about 5 years, partially because I blew the EGO cooler in my previous truck and neither of us felt too comfortable in towing the Alpenlite with that truck. Another such experience like that was something that we did not want to leave to chance.

We have actually been looking at newer 5th wheels for about 6 months. As of yesterday, we have almost decided upon a Prime Time Sanibel. If anyone on the forum has one or has experience with one, we would appreciate your thoughts on your experiences with a Sanibel and with Prime Time, both good and bad.

Hope everyone has a great day. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Dave

Hi - Thanks so much for the welcome and for sharing the pictures. How do you like the pop-up TV? We have seen several and my wife always comments that she doesn't want to miss a football game because we can't get the TV up !

Is the site at your home or an RV campground.

Oh, yes…almost forgot to mention…that's really a good-looking rig.
