New to travel trailering

Hi. My wife and I are in the process of getting into trailering. We have been looking at a 2015 Surveyor West (201RBS). Are there any Surveyor owners out there who can give me some feedback about what they like/dislike about them?

We really like the floor plan and have heard good things about the Surveyor. I also understand that Forest River sells the most RVs by a long shot.

Any advice/thoughts are appreciated.

thanks.

suggest two things:

1. post what you'll be towing with, including its specs, ESPECIALLY payload capacity of the tow vehicle.
2. check out the Surveyor sub-forum, in the TT/5th wheel section. you may want to start a post about that model you're interested in.

Hidee ho

Hello and welcome from northern Arizona!
There's quite a few of us on this forum that have and love our Surveyor's. Lots of good mods and info on the Surveyor subforum as previously mentioned. My wife and I have a Surveyor 220 we bought in 2013 and just love it. Not one problem yet, knock on wood. Ours weighs 5000lbs loaded, we travel light, and our 1/2 ton Ram 1500 tows it just fine. The two best mods I feel made the most impact for us was the Oxygenics shower head, saves water but has great flow; and replacing the door window with tinted black safety glass which somehow makes the interior seem larger. Enjoy your new trailer and just have fun!
